Each group will be assigned one of 8 parts of speech. Using an Upfront Magazine article, create a synthesis page. Include:
- part of speech and definition
- at least 3 sentences from the text with the examples of the part of speech noted
- general observations, discoveries, and/or questions about that part of speech (at least 4); what do you notice about how that part of speech is used in sentences and writing, what distinguishes it from other parts of speech
- visual illustration of the part of speech that will help the class remember the definition
