What's Due

1. Unit 3 vocabulary due Monday 12/3

2. Argument essay, typed or neatly written on loose leaf, due Tuesday 12/4; include outline, drafts, and rubric

3. Social action poem or song due Wednesday 12/5 - typed or hand-written

4. Blog reading response #3: Respond to one of the Critical Thinking Reading Questions for Social Action listed in previous post

5. Signed quizzes (#1 and #2) due Monday.

6. Quiz retake for those of you who received less than 75 on either quiz is on Tuesday 12/4 during zero period. In order to be allowed to do this, you must have quiz signed and come to review on Monday during zero period.

7. Make sure you are earnestly immersed in independent reading (in other words, seriously exercising your brains with enjoyable, "just right" books). You should be reading at least 30 minutes a night, fiction, nonfiction, or poetry. Maintain your book list on your blog; each book you finish, add to your list.
