Writing Share in the Library

You have published an array of genres on your blog. Now it's time to share!

1. Let's read a student's reading response and use the rubric to score it.

2. Write a 3-5 sentence comment to the student using the guidelines we have gone over.

3. Read the responses of students in your group and comment on them.

4. Discuss and share what we noticed.

5. Now move on to the creative writing assignment. Read the students' work in your group and comment on them.

6. Writing Reflection Blog Post (do this by the end of class):

  • What have you learned from reading other students' work? 
  • What are at least 3 goals and/or questions you have for writing essays?
  • What are at least 3 goals you have for creative writing?
