Homework Assignments and Important Dates

1. Acquire book club books, have letter signed, and read and take notes. You should have assigned page numbers to read. Write at least 3 notes per chapter. Focus on character.
805 and 811: due Monday; 807 due Tuesday. Books must be finished in 3 weeks (805 and 811: Mon Dec 14; 807: Tues Dec 15).


2. Read and annotate all feature articles plus the debate in the latest Upfront. Underline important details and write the central idea of each article. Due Wed 11/25 (807 and 811). Due Tues 12/1 (805).


3. Vocabulary Test Tuesday December 8.


4. Independent reading: read 2-3 hours a week. Update the reading log on your blog. Include title, author, date started, and date finished. Reading Upfront and your book club books count toward your reading homework.
