Editing and Proofreading: Citing Sources


Review the handouts: Incorporating Quotations and Citing Sources. Rewrite each sentence correctly; make sure you follow the rules on these handouts:


1.       In the article "armed and underaged," "Boys are brainwashed to burn down huts and pound newborn babies to death.


2.       For example, "In some countries hunger and poverty drive parents to sell their children into service" – pg. 1 “Armed and Underage”


3.       There are way too many kids fighting in wars. “Today, as many as 300000 children age 17 and under fight in conflict.” (Children at war)
