813 ELA Work Friday December 2

1. Read and write a comment on students' creative responses (the people in your group + at least 1 more in the class). The comment should  be 3-4 sentences showing your thoughts, reactions, connections, and/or suggestions (15-20 min).


2. Read and go over Banned Book Club Final Project assignment and rubric.

3. Get into book clubs:
a) Have a general 3 minute discussion on the book.
b) Discuss and take notes in the following way:

Why should the text be restricted or banned?

3. Read quietly and take more notes on the questions above.
