Create a synthesis page with the following elements: Title and author Focus: what aspect of the text are you exploring? Evidence: include most startling and/or convincing quotations and/or paraphrases from different parts of the text (at least 4) Elaboration/Analysis: What does the evidence mean? What patterns do you notice? Conclusions: What is the central idea/theme? What is the message or purpose of the text? How has the text changed your thinking and make you think more deeply about the topic (add your interpretation/perspective)? (This should be 1-3 sentences).
